Ese Brume to open season at Doha Diamond League
Nigerian Long Jump sensation will be looking forward to partake in her first competition of season when the IAAF Diamond League train stops at Doha, Qatar on Thursday, September 25.
World Bronze medalist Brume will be squaring up to World Silver medalist Maryna Bekh-Romanchuk, Serbia’s Milica Gardasevic among others in the Long Jump event.
USA’s Taliyah Brooks and Sweden’s Khaddi Sagnia, who hit a personal best of 6.92m at 70th Hanzekovic Memorial in Zagreb last week, will also be part of the big contenders.
Brume last appeared at the Meeting Hauts-de-France in Lievin, where she leaped to an indoor personal best of 6.82m in February.
She will be returning to Diamond League competition for the first time since her debut at Lausanne in July 2018, where she leaped 6.66m.
